Fjord Safari with goat cheese tastingš What we looked like. Special suits were worn Incase we accidentally fell overboard. The goggles, hat and gloves were all necessary to stay warm. The story is that an American fell in love with this area, met a Norwegian woman and together bought this house on the top. Ā They renovated it and rent out part of the house; you have to hike up which takes about 40 minutes and thereās no electricity and Iām not sure what else. Itās fully booked all summer. This is the boat house because there are no roads to get there. This was our companion boat. This was where we stopped for cheese tasting. Kayaking Since Fjords are saltwater and this connects to the sea, there are seals and whales in these Fjords. I donāt know if you can see them but those white specks are goats. Beauty abounds
Love the pics, reminds me of being in Europe in the late 60’s and early 70’s. The history of the small towns is amazing, any history buff should go tour Europe. The U.S. looks like a modern country even in it’s oldest areas compared to Europe. Reply
excellent! Thanks for sharing. How was the cheese?
Looks like fun.–and a full day.
